Business Finance/Credit Counseling
Starting a business and need to learn more about budgeting? How can you get personal credit in order to obtain further financing?
The WBC offers free credit counseling. Small business have the same issues as families – pressing financial demands, limited funds, and ineffective planning or budgeting. With attending this session you can learn how to fix it. These sessions are held in a small group setting.
Individual Counseling
The WBC collaborates with the local SCORE Business Counseling. The meetings are held at the WBC and provide guidance and resources to help owners navigate through business decisions. This is a group counseling session directed by SCORE advisors who will answer any questions you may have.

Free Business Law Advice
The WBC collaborates with The WNY Law Center’s Small Business Legal Clinic for Free Business Law Advice. The one-on-one meetings are held at the WBC and provide free legal services for entrepreneurs and small businesses.
Areas of advice include: Business Formation, Business Taxation, Buying or Selling a Business, Closing a Business, Commercial Real Estate Leases, Contracts, Employees & Independent Contractors, Insurance, Intellectual Property, Licenses, Permits, and Zoning. *Advice cannot be given for any matters relating to lawsuits.

The WBC collaborates with The Cattaraugus County Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC) for Government Contracting Help. The one-on-one meetings are held at the WBC and provides help to entrepreneurs and small businesses to effectively market and sell their products or services to local, state, and federal government agencies.

The meetings are held at the WBC and provide guidance and resources to help owners navigate through business decisions. This is a group counseling session directed by SBDC advisors who will answer any questions you may have.
