Building on the Comprehensive Small Business Grant Readiness Workshop, this 2.5-hour interactive session will take participants deeper into the practical work of developing a competitive grant application.
The Workshop Will Cover
- Common grant application questions and effective strategies for answering them
- How to align a proposed project with a funder’s priorities and evaluation criteria
- The differences among goals, objectives, activities, outputs, outcomes, and performance indicators
- How to develop clear, realistic, and measurable project objectives
- Common application weaknesses and practical ways to strengthen a proposal before submission
Participants are encouraged to bring a specific business project, challenge, or funding idea to use during the exercises. Worksheets and handouts will be provided so attendees leave with a working foundation they can apply to future grant opportunities.
