About the Ignite Session
Do you have a business idea you want to explore and take to the next level? Already own a successful business but need to enhance your skills within a certain area? Do you want to be a part of a community of successful women business owners and entrepreneurs?
Take the first step and let us help you learn to grow your business and ignite your success.
What you can expect with a Ignite Session:
- A one-on-one meeting with a member of the WBC team.
- A thorough review of where you are and where you want to go.
- An identified path to support the growth of your venture.
- A package that describes how you can get the most out of the Women’s Business Center at Canisius College.
To schedule a 60-minute Ignite session at the WBC, please click on the Calendly link below and select the day and time that is most convenient for you, AT LEAST 48 HOURS PRIOR TO YOUR SESSION.
PLEASE NOTE: After you schedule your Ignite Session, you will receive an email from our WBC office that will contain confirmation of your scheduled Ignite session, along with a parking permit and a map of the Canisius College Campus. If you do not receive an email within several days prior to your Ignite session, please look in your SPAM folder.
In addition, you will receive a phone call or text from our Ignite Session Facilitator to confirm your appointment the afternoon/evening prior to your session or the day of your session. If we do not receive confirmation, you may have to reschedule your Ignite Session.
Be sure to park ONLY in the parking ramp on Jefferson Avenue (corner of Jefferson and Delavan); other parking lots on campus are restricted parking only, and parking elsewhere may result in a ticket being issued by the Buffalo police. The ramp is attached to Science Hall with an enclosed walkway. There is also free street parking on Main Street adjacent to our building, but ONLY until 4pm.
Please plan on coming 10 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment to fill out required forms.
In the event of inclement weather, please check either the Canisius College website and/or any news outlet stations. In case the college is closed, you will need to reschedule your Ignite Session.
