Heather Jason started as the Assistant Director at the Women’s Business Center in November 2020. She has over 15 years’ experience in grants, non-profit management and financial reporting. Heather provides grant-related support including fiscal services, reporting, and ensuring grant compliance.
Heather has long held a passion for empowering women and working in her community. She served on the inaugural TEDxBuffalo Women Committee, participated in the WomenElect program, and serves on the Impact Grant Committee for the WNY Women’s Foundation. She has volunteered for several programs serving young women including the Community Missions’ Girls Circle, Buffalo Center for Arts & Technology Young Women’s Empowerment Group, and Youth Mentoring Services Girls to Women Program.
Heather’s commitment to empowering women also extends to herself. She has continuously invested in personal and professional growth and development opportunities through various programs including Remedy Women’s Leadership Group, United Way Board Leadership Training, Leadership Niagara, and Leadership Buffalo.
