Up to 10 female owners of businesses in the City of Lockport will have a chance to attend networking and training sessions at Canisius College’s Women’s Business Center – for free.
The center, which is expanding its “E-Network” into Niagara County, is offering 10 meetings on Wednesdays from March 14 to July 25. The facilitator and mentor will be Niagara County entrepreneur Lisa Churakos.
The Yahoo Community Fund and the Greater Lockport Development Corp. each are picking up half the normal $300 cost of the series for women who own businesses in the City of Lockport.
E-Network also is making 10 seats available for women from each of three other communities: Lewiston, Niagara Falls and North Tonawanda.
Those interested can register via the Women’s Business Center’s website.
