The Women’s Business Center, in Canisius College on the corner of Main and Jefferson, is the only organization that focuses solely on results-oriented business education for women entrepreneurs throughout all of WNY. We remove barriers so women entrepreneurs can access opportunities, secure their dreams and attain their financial independence. In our ’21-’22 programming year our WBC supported over 400 individuals, 46% minority, supporting 279 jobs and nearly 29 million in gross revenues.
Women’s Business Center at Canisius College – Scholarship Fund
As we work to remove barriers, we are implementing a sliding scale, needs-based scholarship program. Since 62% of women entrepreneurs rely on their business as their primary income, we need to make sure they can receive the business education, supportive community & connections that only the WBC provides. Money raised will allow us to continue to fund a scholarship fund, allowing any woman-identifying WNYer full access to any WBC programs they need, when their business needs us most.
