Christie R Nelson, MBA has been serving the Western New York and New York City Area for over 20 years. She is the President and CEO of New Dominion Enterprises Inc, a real estate sales, development, property management and consulting firm that focuses on building wealth through real estate education, particularly for historically disadvantaged individuals and business owners.
New Dominion Enterprises, Inc is a certified NYS Minority Women Business Enterprise, has earned a reputation of excellence by helping clients reach their (financial) goals through understanding their options with real property with focused, personal, and comprehensive strategies. New Dominion has utilized the same effective approach in helping individuals with their real property needs to helping small businesses also maneuver the changing tide of their respective industries.
As the daughter of West Indian immigrants from Guyana, Christie’s strong work ethic, entrepreneurial skills and drive to succeed while bettering her community were all instilled in her from a young age. Growing up in Queens New York, Christie is no stranger to the hustle and bustle of cities and have seen the best and the worst that economy, politics and business development have to offer.
While always staying true to her entrepreneurial roots, she has held various executive level positions in the private, government and non-profit sectors to include, Director of Real Estate & AVP of Tax-Credit Housing. Her expertise in the area of operations management, strategic planning, and marketing has made her a vital asset in the businesses she has worked for or consulted with.
It is also important to Christie to give back to the community on a personal level. In addition to being an active member of professional organizations related to her career in real estate, Christie prides herself on her work in the community, particularly with youth development organizations/programs. That is reflected in her board memberships to the Girls on the Run Buffalo, Health Sciences Charter School, and previously the Boys & Girls Clubs of Buffalo.
Christie firmly believes in the notion that it “takes a village”. She is here to be a key contributor to the village that is our world!
