Coordinator

Karen Burke is the heartbeat of the Women’s Business Center that sets the tempo as the Coordinator. Besides running the essential “behind-the-scenes” operations of the WBC such as data collection and reporting, event registration and administrative support for the Executive Director, Karen is the first to welcome clients, listen to their needs and guide them to their next step. With all members feeling personally acknowledged and supported by Karen, she was promoted last year from the position of WBC Administrative Assistant.

With a diverse administrative background in the areas of law, insurance, healthcare, funeral services and most recently her administrative position at National Grid, Karen brings an extensive knowledge of business and operational procedures to her role at the WBC.

Originally from England, Karen holds a Legal Office Assistant AAS from Bryant & Stratton College.
